She performed regularly on local Dallas radio program The Big D Jamboree and recorded a number of great sides for RCA, as well as a few smaller labels. It really is a shame that she isn't more well known, she has such a unique voice. Just listen to that growl...

Debbie Brimer is listed as both writer and performer and after hearing her sing it's not surprising that a google search turns up practically nothing...
