First of all, let me apologize for the lack of activity around here. I'm getting married in a few short weeks and have been a little distracted lately. Anyway, since October is coming up soon, I thought I'd ease us into the Halloween season with this nice flying saucer record from the Jive Five on Beltone. R&B, Comedy and UFOs. What more could you ask for?? Next month I'll be featuring some 45s from my Halloween collection, so stay tuned!

Ah yes... the much ignored Flying Saucermen Genre. Gotta love it. ;-)

As to lack of activity, it's quality, not quantity. At least that's what I tell people who gripe at my, shall we say, "slow-paced" output at my blog.

I prefer to offer both quality and quantity when possible, but thanks. BTW, why did you pick up that unmarked book on the counter today? What is wrong with you?

Quality *and* quantity, of course, is a noble goal, it's one that I just can't meet very often. You, of course, have 10,000 45s/78s at your disposal, so you have no excuse. ('cept for that little wedding thing, of course).

And yeah, about that book and cleaning up accepted buys in general: I don't know what got into me... :-)

This is a great doo-wop type song, I am sure that Frank Zappa must have enjoyed. THANX!
